The Pennylvania State University National Security Club fosters an engaging environment to prepare the next generation of government leaders. We provide Penn State students who aspire to pursue careers in national security with resources from Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement agencies. This is facilitated through representatives and speakers from across the federal government in addition to other resources that the club may provide.

When it comes to working in the government, networking is crucial. In addition to developing a Penn State federal alumni network, we provide a place for excelling students  to meet others with similar career interests.

We believe that discussing current events related to national security and critically reflecting on them is integral to ensuring that our members are prepared to handle similar discourse in their careers.

Penn State has a strong connection to the public sector, providing a myriad of opportunities to get federal work experience while in school. Joining NSC will make you aware of these opportunities in addition to having access to exclusive government internship opportunities.

Federal Career Fairs

The Penn State National Security Club provides its members with semi-annual career fairs that host many federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. Many students recieve internships, research opportunities, and full-time offers from these events.
